Adrenaline help..
I have a lvl 20 warrior with somewhere to the tune of 3/4 of a million XP on it. I am no pro tank or anything but I do alright with him. I only found out yesterday that other warriors seem to get adrenaline from getting hit with attacks. Unless I use a monk skill mine does not build up while getting hit. Is this based on the armor you have or is my warrior broken?
I was testing with another war and he was using adrenaline skills as he was letting himself get beat up, but my skills only charged while attacking. Can anyone explain why? |

im not sure why but that also seems to happen to me. When farming shiverpeak trolls i find that unless i dont constantly attack... my adren skills never charge. I swear they used to by getting hit but that could just be me.

What armor do you use? maybe the extra energy from the glads armor kills your adrenaline gain on hits? I guess if I can't find an answer I could go buy another set of armor to see what happens.

well it must have been something odd that night when we were testing because now I do get it at a very slow pace when being hit by physical attacks.

Im am not positive on this, but...
I am thinking that Adrenaline taken is proportional to the damage taken. Since you gain a large amount of adrenaline per each attack that you perform, i am thining that adrenaline gained per hit taken gives you a certain amount following the amount of damage taken. And since most warriors/tanks have high armor and some dmg reduction, the proportional adrenline taken is minimal... This of course is just conjecture. So i really cant say for sure. Enjoy! |

if you lose 75% of your health...you still only gain 3 strikes of adren
Its extremely small and based on percentages of max health |

I think you gain energy from the dmg you take from melee!?

^^^ Thanks for the link.
If I understand this properly, you'll get 1 strike of adrenaline if you get hit for 25% of your max health. So if your max health is 500 and you get hit for 125, you'll get a single strike of adrenaline just like you do when you attack once. Usually, it'll take a few hits to get there. For example, if your max health is 500, it would take four 25 damage hits for you to gain a single strike of adrenaline. |

EDIT: Ah. The "strikes" are approximations. * 4 Strike Skills -- 80 adrenaline 'points' * * 5 Strike Skills -- 120 adrenaline 'points' * 6 Strike Skills -- 140 adrenaline 'points' ** * 7 Strike Skills -- 160 adrenaline 'points' * 8 Strike Skills -- 200 adrenaline 'points' * 10 Strike Skills -- 240 adrenaline 'points' *Does not include sever artery and counter blow which both cost 100 'points' of adrenaline. **Does not include hammer bash which costs 130 'points' of adrenaline.
